Why it matters

A ceramic coating is only as good as the maintenance routine behind it.

Ceramic coating and PPF don't eliminate the need to wash your vehicle — they make washing easier and safer. But using the wrong products (degreasers, alkaline soaps, abrasive brushes) will degrade coatings faster than the street will. Our maintenance wash service uses pH-neutral, coating-safe chemistry and clean microfiber technique, the same standard we use during our own installs.

If you're preparing a vehicle for a ceramic coating or PPF installation, our New Car Prep detail is a required first step. It includes iron decontamination, clay bar treatment, and an IPA panel wipe — the same prep we perform in-house before every install. Starting with a truly clean, decontaminated surface is what separates a 9-year coating from one that starts failing in year 2.
